A native of Utica, New York, Colleen received her nursing diploma from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from State University of New York, Utica/Rome. At graduation she was honored by being selected by the faculty as the, “Outstanding Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate Student.”
Colleen is licensed in South Carolina as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and is board certified by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She brings over thirty years of experience in the nursing profession with a background in college level student health, urology, critical care, neonatal and women’s health disciplines.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she taught nursing at the Associate Degree level. Colleen is President of the local Oncology Nurses Society (ONS) and is the Treasurer of the Grand Strand Advanced Practice Nurse Association. Colleen’s hobbies and interests include swimming, walking, reading, cross-stitch and spending time with family.
