If you’ve been touched by cancer in any way and would enjoy being surrounded with people just like you, we invite you to visit Coping Together.

Coping Together – a community support group, is for anyone who has been affected by cancer. Whether you are a patient, caregiver, survivor, family member or friend, you’re invited! Meetings are held at McLeod Seacoast on Hwy 9 in Little River on the first Monday of every month from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Meetings take place in a very relaxed setting with an array of different speakers including cancer professionals with time for questions and answers.

Coping Together was founded in July 2013 by two friends, Michele Hartman and Nan Hasting. Both have been touched by cancer in two very different ways. After researching and talking with cancer professionals both women quickly discovered there wasn’t a cancer support group in the North Strand of Myrtle Beach. Both decided to form a non-profit support group and thus “Coping Together” was formed.

If you would like more information about the group please feel free to contact Nan Hasting at 502-396-9660 or email nanhasting@rocketmail.com or McLeod Seacoast at 843-390-8327.
