Coastal Cancer Center offers the following services to its patients:

• Cancer Management by Board Certified Medical Oncologists.  In addition to your care team will be Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Oncology Certified Nurses, LPNs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, and Diagnostic Imaging Technologists (RT).
• Chemotherapy Administration
• Laboratory Services (complete blood work including Tumor Markers and CBCs)
• Diagnostic Testing (X-Rays, PET Scans, CT Scans, Bone Scans, Bone Marrow Tests, and Bone Density Tests) Click here for more information on testing.

Patients who need services we do not provide are referred to the appropriate physician and treatment facility. These specialists will provide exact details on what to expect during and after a specific course of treatment.

Hours of Service
We are open 7 days a week. Some offices begin appointments as early as 7:30 a.m. We also have extended hours at the Myrtle Beach location to include Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (with the exception of major holidays) to better meet the needs of our patients.

Emergencies and Phone Calls to the office

Should a patient be experiencing a true, life-threatening emergency, call 911.  Calls to Coastal Cancer Center by active patients should only be made after arrangements to get to the Emergency Room have been made.

Our Oncology Certified Nurses are trained to address patient needs when calling the office.  Calls from an active patient regarding medical conditions would be referred to the Nurse Navigator.  The Nurse Navigator would guide the patient to the next appropriate steps in addressing their needs, give instructions on how to treat or monitor the problem, when to seek immediate care and referrals for further services if needed.  The Nurse Navigator would communicate with the patient’s physician to coordinate their care.

Coastal Cancer Center is available to our patients 24 hours a day seven days a week.  Calls after hours or on holidays will be picked up by the answering service and referred to our on-call doctor.
