Dr. Goldberg and Staff,

We cannot thank you enough for taking care of our mother during her stay at Myrtle Beach for the month of February. What a blessing it was not to have to drive back to Duke for her to get her chemo.

Everyone we spoke with from the receptionist who answered our hundred questions as we were seeking out doctors in the area to the check in staff. All the nurses and lab people were very friendly. Everyone went above and beyond their duty to make us a feel comfortable and to answer any questions. You all gave my mother exceptional care. She and all of us thank you.

I want to thank each and every one here at the Cancer Center for all of the loving care you have given me. You have God given talent along with the wisdom and knowledge and such compassion to take care of those with cancer. Your staff is professional, as well, and everyone here makes me feel so good. They are very loving, kind and make me feel like they really care and show interest in not just me, but everyone that they treat. That really means a lot to me. No matter how you feel when you get there, you always feel better when you leave. That really means a lot.

Dear Dr. Holt,

I cannot begin to express how wonderful you have been to my husband and me at an extremely difficult time of a cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy.  You have been very thorough in all your explanations and in answering our many questions.  Your compassion and positive attitude have helped to sustain us.  Coordination of care with other physicians was always smooth and a priority.

Your entire staff has been extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, especially the chemo nurses.  The chemo suite runs like an ICU.  I had internships in several outpatient specialty offices in working on my doctorate, but your office runs much more efficiently than the many offices where I have worked or trained.  Appointments for lab, provider visits and chemo all seem to flow smoothly even though they are each dependent on each other.   We were also able to be worked in for a sick visit easily and efficiently.  I feel sure managing such a large multiple office practice must be challenging but I am very grateful our area has such a service.

Thank you again for the exceptional care my husband has received.  We are praying my husband does well and we will be able to see you for years to come.
