Mary Taylor Jackson

Mary Taylor Jackson, FNP-BC, joined Coastal Cancer Center in 2022. She is a North Carolina native and spent most of her childhood summers in Myrtle Beach.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Carolina University and her Master of Nursing from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Before obtaining her master’s, she worked as a chemotherapy nurse for 6 years.

In 2025, Mary Taylor was honored with the DAISY Award at Coastal Cancer Center, a national recognition given to nurses who provide extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care. The award celebrates nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families through kindness, dedication, and exceptional patient-centered care.

Mary Taylor spends most of her time enjoying the beach, taking care of her dog, Coach, and attending Gamecock Football games.
